Mikha Romero Slone is a dedicated legal professional with a passion for solving complex problems through strategic and thoughtful counsel. She currently serves as a Legal Intern at Gungoll, Jackson, Box & Devoll, P.C., and is slated to be officially recognized as an attorney upon admission to the Oklahoma Bar in 2025. Mikha brings a dynamic blend of academic excellence, professional leadership, and a strong commitment to client advocacy to her practice.
Her legal focus spans Corporate & Business Law, Litigation, and Banking & Finance, with a mission to empower clients by providing accessible, efficient, and effective legal solutions. Mikha earned her Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law, cum laude, from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she served as a Senior Associate on the Louisiana Law Review and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for earning the highest grade in Securities Regulation, Antitrust, and Health Law. Mikha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and a minor in Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
Licensed to practice in Louisiana (2023) and Oklahoma (pending, 2025), Mikha is actively involved in the legal community. She serves the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division as Vice Chair of the Business Law Committee and Liaison to the Coordinating Committee on Veterans Benefits and Services. She is also a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association (pending, 2025), and the Military Spouse J.D. Network.
Beyond her legal work, Mikha contributes to her community as a Key Support Liaison at Vance Air Force Base and previously served as Board Secretary for the Family and Youth Service Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Mikha is known for her attention to detail, clear communication, and adaptable nature. Her colleagues and clients alike appreciate her goal-oriented mindset and empathetic approach. When she’s not immersed in legal work, Mikha enjoys staying active, exploring new recipes, and reading a mix of classic literature and modern legal texts.
