Erin J. Rooney was born in Denver, Colorado and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology-Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Letters. Upon graduating from college, Erin worked in the oil and gas industry for a critical service valve manufacturing company headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

In 2012, Erin received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma School of Law. While in law school, he served as a Staff Member for the Law Review; participated in the University of Oklahoma Criminal Law clinic, which provides legal assistance to indigent members of the Cleveland County community; and, was admitted to practice in the United States Patent Office as a patent agent.

Erin is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Oklahoma, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He is a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association and the Transportation Lawyers Association. Since 2016, Erin has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Oklahoma Super Lawyers Magazine.

Erin’s practice areas include personal injury law, insurance law, and general civil litigation. Throughout his career, he has successfully represented a wide range of clients from individuals to national trucking companies to Fortune 500 insurers. Erin’s litigation experience also provides an excellent foundation to assist his clients in analyzing complex contractual and insurance coverage issues.

While not in the office, Erin enjoys spending time with his family, sailing, and cycling.
